The competition was marked by their spirit to showcase their enthusiasm, creativity, details, and unity. Most of the selected team members are skilled in the art of crafting Balinese penjor.

A penjor is not only a symbol of an event or ornate decoration. According to the Balinese tradition, it is believed as a spiritual connection and cultural identity.

It stands tall in a captivating display and the ornament showcases the beauty, symbolizing the harmonious balance between the forces of nature and the divine during significant ceremonies and festivals.

Made from tall bamboo, the towering represents Mount Agung, Bali’s sacred mountain. It’s usually adorned with various offerings and colorful displays that are a prominent feature in Balinese Hindu celebrations, particularly during Galungan and Kuningan festivals adding a touch of splendor to these joyous occasions. Previously, she has worked with esteemed hospitality brands such as Accor, Marriott, Starwood Hotels, Maya Resorts, and most recently, the Banyan Tree Hotels Group. Notably, she played a significant role as part of the pre-opening team for HOMM Saranam Baturiti Bali.

She is also a proud graduate of Atma Jaya University in Yogyakarta, where she majored in Public Relations. Alongside her professional skills, she possesses a strong passion for photography, writing, and creating digital content.

In her new role, she will be responsible managing and leading Marketing Department with new marketing strategies to drive the growth of our hotel.

One of the most captivating elements of the celebration is the penjor decoration. A tall bamboo pole prepared, adorned with vibrant ornaments and offerings stands over the streets and villages. These stunning decorations symbolize the cosmic mountains and serve as a connection between the earthly realm and the divine.

Once upon a time, as the legend goes, a captivating tale rooted in Mayadenawa, a demon who once tyrannized the Balinese. The divine intervention of Lord Indra prevailed upon him, restoring peace and harmony to the whole island. This jubilant occasion commemorates that glorious victory and creates an opportunity to extend gratitude to the ancestral spirits for their watchful protection and guiding presence.

It promotes a sense of responsibility and empowers individuals, regardless of age, to become advocates for the protection of endangered faunas. The little one who released the first baby announced as the winner and received a resort’s mascot doll, the squirrel.By participating in this program, guests can witness firsthand the journey of rescued sea turtles as they return to their natural habitat.

At this joyful moment, we released 111 baby turtles and participants will have an inspiring moment. Wishing our little warrior the best of luck as these incredible creatures return to the ocean, ready to continue their journey.

The event was a remarkable celebration of cultural heritage, supported by local artists and musicians. The event began with a mesmerizing dance by Manubada Art Community, followed by renowned Balinese flutist Gus Teja.

His famous instrumental piece, “Bali Jalan Jalan,” resonated throughout the venue, captivating the audience. Continuing the musical journey, he delighted the crowd with tracks from his first album, including the uplifting melody “Morning Happiness.”

He succeeded in delivering exceptional performances and he also went above and beyond to approach and interact with each guest, creating intimate connections through his enchanting music. The guests were hypnotized by this personal touch, enhancing their experience and leaving a lasting impression.

Adding elegance to the evening, fashion designer Julia Amanda presented a stunning fashion show, showcasing her latest designs. The grand finale witnessed a collaboration between Gus Teja and Julia Amanda, combining alluring melodies with fascinating fashion show, creating a truly memorable experience.

Among the esteemed guests were representatives from Kadin Bali (Kamar Dagang Indonesia), including Bapak Made Ariandi, who graciously shared his insights on the importance of preserving Balinese heritage and culture in the modern era. BALI, May 2021 – Pengurus Besar Persatuan Squash Indonesia (PB PSI) held a squash tournament at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa on the 28th – 29th May 2021.

Squash players from Bali, Yogjakarta and Jakarta participated in this tournament. Participants from the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa’s employees also joined. Players were divided into A, B, C and junior categories. The total number of participants were limited to 25 participants who followed strict health and safety protocols.

The winner was Mr. Warta, 2nd place went to Mr. Ariawan and the 3rd place went to winner was Mr. Wardana. All three winners are Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa’s employees.
