Jamal Hussain, General Manager of Nusa Dua Beach & Spa is pleased to announce the appointments of Senior Sales Manager, Ms. Henny Selviyanti and Marketing & Communications Manager, Ms. Tri Widiyastuti.

Henny was previously with an international chain hotel also in Bali and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Tourism Management from STIMI Handayani, Denpasar.

Widya is an experienced Bali hotelier having worked 14 years in the hospitality industry. With her strong background experience and media relations, Widya is keen to keep the public well informed about activities and developments as well as raise the profile of Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali.

Chef Sumendra’s last postings were in the Caribbean and in Fiji. His specialties are Thai, Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines coupled with his ethnic Indonesian and Balinese culinary knowledge. He has over 20 years of culinary experience.

Located on Bali’s southern peninsula, the pristine 200-meter white sandy beach of Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa is a natural location for nesting sea turtles.

On June 18th, the resort released 98 baby turtles from the hatchery to the ocean.

Guests were invited to join this event and enjoy that wonderful moment as these baby turtles splash their way into the waters of the Indian Ocean.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa works closely with a local Turtle Conversation “Bali Sea Turtle Society” to retrieve these eggs and ensure they are carefully incubated in a secured environment. Since year 2013, the resort has released 2120 baby turtles to the ocean.
