Sunny Dahye was born in South Korea and raised in Bali, Indonesia. She has lived in Indonesia since she was 4 years old and completed her schooling here in Bali. She attended law school in Gajah Mada University in Yogyakarta. After completing her education, Sunny Dahye decided to return to her home country and to work at the national television station to become a successful YouTuber in South Korea.

Sunny Dahye traveled to Bali to spend holidays with her friends – Joan Kim, Dabit Kim and Park Hyoyoung. Nusa Dua, BALI, May 2019 – On his visit to Indonesia, the global peace leader and spiritual master, HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar traveled to Bali on 21st of April 2019 to hold a 6 day immersive meditation program named ‘Unveiling Infinity’ for the public. In this master class, HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar took participants to a deep meditative state with long-lasting positive effects for the body and mind.

Ravi Shankar, better known as HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is a spiritual guide and founder of the Art of Living Foundation from India. The name “Sri Sri” is an honorary title which has the same meaning as Guruji or Gurudev (Professor). In 1982, he introduced a breathing technique called Sudarshan-Kriya which he discovered after meditating for 10 days on the banks of the Bhadra river in Shimoga. He believes that the flow of human emotions is in line with the rhythm and speed of breathing which, if arranged in such a way, can reduce or even release suffering in the soul. After that, he began applying Sudarshan Kriya in every course at the Art of Living Foundation, an educational and humanitarian movement engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. Bali, April 2019 – As part of the commitment to support a greener earth, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa has a collaboration with PUSPADI Bali Foundation to support their program of Soap Recycling.

PUSPADI Bali is a Non-Profit Organization in Bali providing rehabilitation, education & training and advocacy programs for persons with disabilities. They also ensure environmental sustainability in Bali and East Indonesia. Soap Recycling is one of the programs. Leftover bar soap from hotels are recycled and distributed to orphanages, needy families and poor communities in Bali. This program minimizes soap waste from the hotels and gives the underprivileged more access to basic hygiene.

Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa has recently delivered its second package this year with 12 kilograms of used soap on 22 April 2019 to PUSPADI Bali. According to the organization, the soap is melted down, sanitized and cut into new soap bars. The recycling process is performed by persons with disabilities who are trained and employed by PUSPADI Bali.

“Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa will continue the donation of used soap to PUSPADI Bali on a monthly basis and remains committed to its support of the disabled. Nusa Dua, BALI, March 2019  – Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa organized a blood donation for staff in cooperation with the Indonesian Red Cross on 22 March 2019. This very humane event takes place every 3 months at the Resort.

Staff from all departments met at the appointed venue. Basic health & blood screening was done before the staff were certified as fit to be donors. Those who passed then proceeded to donate blood. There were a total of 47 participants.

The donation is a hugely tangible social contribution said Jamal Hussain, General Manager.  We all support this noble cause as “the next life you safe could be your own”. Two of the participating staff have donated blood over 50 times. Gifts were presented to them as recognition for their generosity.

The hotel regularly holds CSR events to spread awareness and encourage more people to care for society.
